Once you learn the rules, you can start to break them, right? (Respectfully, gently − at least at first.) The layout for the “Body Neutrality” article shows my first-ever experience in InDesign, and you can see here how I evolved past the more basic considerations.

I designed an article that showcased a list of places to travel, compiling a few resources and my own experiences to put this article together. I relished the opportunity to use some of the pictures I had taken on my own travels (the title spread, images #1, #5, and #9 — although I have been to every place except Cardiff). I imagined this content in a travel magazine, like Wanderlust. The readers’ eyes are invited to wander from place to place, page to page.
